I'm Excited About TCC! Now What Do I Do?

Updated: Oct 25, 2018

Church planting is exciting!

It’s thrilling when God arranges for His Gospel to go out to a new and ready place. When Christians begin living the mission of God. When the Spirit of God is at work, giving clear direction and favor.

But church planting also is a long process.

A new church start requires much behind-the-scenes activity: meeting people, planning and gathering resources, praying and trusting. TCC, for instance, is still months away from launching regular public gatherings.

So, what do you do now if you’re excited about Tradewind Community Church? How can you be involved in the church planting process before it’s actually planted?

PRAY FOR TCC.

The best way to support Tradewind Community Church is to pray; eagerly and earnestly pray for this work. Schedule it into your day. Seriously, pray for TCC.

Pray that God would use TCC to proclaim the message of His Gospel to our neighborhood. Pray that we could serve people and love them for God’s glory. Pray that this church could be used to make God famous in our city.

TELL OTHERS ABOUT TCC.

Do you know someone who lives in the Tradewind community? Do you have friends with kids at Tradewind Elementary School? Tell them there’s a new church coming to their part of the city! Send them to TCC’s website. Help us build excitement!

We invite you to connect with us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Interacting with us on these sites can let others learn about the church and get excited, too.

PLAN TO ATTEND TCC.

Just because you're excited about TCC doesn’t mean you are called to be a member of this new church. But it might.

Read about what we believe and ask us questions about what TCC is all about.

And begin asking God now if you are called to become a member of Tradewind Community Church. We would love to have a conversation with you and hear what God’s answer to that question might be! It’s not too early to let us know if you are interested in attending this church.

And go head and put some dates on your calendar:

  • TCC’s first public worship service is planned for Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019! We will meet at 10 a.m. in the cafetorium at Tradewind Elementary School.

  • TCC is planning a community-wide Easter egg hunt event the day before (on Saturday, April 20, 2019) in Tradewind School Park.

  • Three preview worship services are scheduled next summer: June 16, July 21, and August 18. Weekly worship services are set to launch on September 8.

We’re excited – and we hope you are, too!
